Stranded in the massive world of Jericho City, players will need to figure out the truth of what happened, and survive in the unusual world they’re in. Set in a dystopian future, The Surge 2 will have players step into the role of an exo-suit wearing main character who was in a plane crash but has no memory at all about how the crash happened. When the going gets tough, players will have the option to upgrade everything they can think of, from combat stats, to as mentioned before, armor, so while being able to survive will be tough, it won’t be impossible. Being precise with strikes and knowing when to dodge at the right time is what will make players survive the menacing enemies they’ll face in the game. Combat in The Surge 2 is going to be quick and brutal and will have players needing to make swift decisions in only a matter of seconds. That said, enemies won’t just stand around and wait for their death sentence to occur. ![]() This feature lets players make new builds that, dare I say, fit like a glove, making it so that there are multiple ways to chomp enemies into shreds. Depending on what a player targets and tears off, let’s say for instance an enemy’s arm that has a deadly weapon in hand, a player can then equip that piece of equipment to their exo-rig. Well, let me explain… publisher Focus Home Interactive has released a new trailer fittingly titled “You Are What You Kill” that highlights how in The Surge 2, a player’s equipment loadout can be put together by simply picking up every weapon, along with every piece of enemy armor and equipment. There’s an old saying that goes “you are what you eat,” but for The Surge 2, the action-RPG sequel developed by Deck 13, it’s more fitting to say, “you are what you kill.” Confused? ![]()
